Opposition movements in Syria are calling for mass protests on Saturday against the rule of President Bashar Al-Assad.The groups are organizing on Facebook, with several pages promoting protests in Damascus, Aleppo and other cities.
"We have more difficult circumstances than most of the Arab countries, but in spite of that Syria is stable. Why? Because you have to be very closely linked to the beliefs of the people," Assad said, according to the paper.
