Somdev Devvarman was born in Guwahati, Assam on  13 February 1985, Somdev Devvarman is a tennis player from India. His parents are from the small state of Tripura in India. Although Somdev Devvarman was born in Tripura, due to his father's job in his childhood Somdev Devvarman had to be with his father wherever his father was posted. He began playing tennis at age 9 in Chennai, where Somdev Devvarman grew up.
