Available in two variants, the SX4 VDi is priced at Rs. 7.74 lakh and the top-end variant, SX4 ZDi is priced at Rs. 8.62 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki today launched the much awaited SX4 diesel in a price range of Rs 7.74 – 8.62 lakhs, its fourth diesel car . The car will be powered by a Super Turbo DDiS engine displacing 1.3 litres and churning out 90PS and a torque of 200Nm @ 1750 rpm,Its fairly successful petrol sedan SX4 will now come fitted with CRDi (common rail direct injection) engine. To be launched on February 22, 2011, the 1.3 litre engine in diesel SX4 is the same DDSi engine.
The new age diesel technology as offered by SX4 is high on power and performance, while being low on emissions. SX4 diesel offers an economical and punchier ride," Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Managing Director and CEO Shinzo Nakanishi told reporters after Maruti Suzuki announced SX4 Diesel release in india.
