IPL Auction 2011

The IPL new Auction 2011 will have 350 players being bid for over the two-day period and the ten teams will be the bidders. Apart from all the eight teams which had played in the previous edition of the IPL 2011, there are two new teams – Pune and Kochi who will also bid for the players in IPL Auction 2011 .

10 teams will be participating in the IPL 4 'aka' IPL Auction 2011 with 74 matches played between each other.

Overall, the channel is also expecting a sharp rise from ad revenues during the IPL new Auction 2011 this season that starts from April 8. IPL Auction Sony Max TV Channel links will be placed below.

Only 12 players were retained by their teams ahead of the auction during IPL Auction 2011 , with three of the eight existing franchises – Punjab, Deccan Chargers and Kolkata – choosing to release all their players into the auction pool.
