Siruthai is an upcoming Indian Tamil action film, directed by Siva.[1] A remake of the Telugu blockbuster Vikramarkudu, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, it stars Karthi, performing dual roles, and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead. The film, produced by Studio Green's K. Gnanavelraja and featuring music by Vidyasagar,Siruthai is currently in its filming stage and scheduled for a January 2011 Pongal release.
The Mumbai based Venus has been making waves after they snapped up Manmadhan Ambu, Vaanam and Kavalan. Venus's latest acquisition is Karthi's Siruthai.
