Skype is Down

Skype Down Skype is experiencing a massive worldwide outage today. The last major outage was in Christmas, If you are one of Skype's many users who use the service to make a living or talking to your remote users, then you are straight out of luck.

Since Skype went down for millions of users Wednesday morning, SkypeInc. began to investigate this neither "typical" nor "expected" occurrence.

It appears that many of the millions of people who rely on Skype are having issues accessing the service this morning here in UK.

Skype appears to have has gone down. We're trying to ascertain why and get comment from the company, say's tech crunch. It does appear the chat, calling and conferencing service Skype is currentlydown. The Readwriteweb tech blog is reporting that 8 million skype users are affected now
