Skoda India's New Yeti

Skoda India, launched its much-awaited compact SUV, the Yeti, in India this week. The Skoda Yeti will be brought to India as a Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) unit from Europe, and will be available in two variants, priced at Rs 15.40 lakh and Rs 16.62 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.

Bloomberg reported that Skoda Auto AS, the Czech unit of Volkswagen AG will post record sales this year fueled by sales growth in China, India and Russia.Skoda India unveiled its latest SUV Yeti in India and intends to bring more variants to the domestic market by 2011.
