The government is searching at how the Niira Radia tapes turned public, after Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata group that is represented by NIRA Radia.



Raids are being accomplished at 34 places – 27 places in Tamil Nadu and 7 in Delhi. According to CBI sources, the raids are still going on.


Last week, the CBI had accomplished searches at the residences of former Telecom Minister A Raja in Delhi, Chennai and his village Velur besides carrying raids at the premises of a possible business associate and 4 other Telecom officials, including his personal secretary R K Chandolia, in connection with the 2G scam.
