Julian Assange
WikiLeaks latest and Julian Assange's court appeal, Julian Assange, the Australian founder of Wikileaks, has said he has been warned by "inside sources in the White House" not to return to the US as he could be arrested.

The legal status of WikiLeaks is complex. Assange considers WikiLeaks a whistleblower protection intermediary.

Julian Assange has criticised Visa, MasterCard and PayPal for blocking donations to WikiLeaks - describing the companies as "instruments of US foreign policy".

Jailed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has told his mother that the broad condemnation of his work by the U.S. government and its allies has "increased my determination" to continue publishing secret American diplomatic cables.

The WikiLeaks boss also berated a handful of large corporations which have ended their relations with his organization -- some of them admittedly under huge pressure from American politicians to do so.
